At the recent Wonderlust event, Apple Inc. revealed the launch date for its upcoming operating system, iOS 17, alongside other operating systems like iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17. These exciting updates were initially introduced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2023.
iOS 17 marks a significant milestone for Apple, promising substantial enhancements in the way FaceTime and messages work on iPhones. However, it’s important to note that not all iPhone models will be able to enjoy these improvements. Apple has specified that iOS 17 will be free only for iPhone Xs and newer models.
In essence, iOS 17 is set to bring exciting changes to the iPhone experience, but some older iPhone models won’t be included in this update.
